Good Guys vs Good Guys III will feature 9 innings of great ball play featuring McHenry PD Chief John Jones, McHenry Township Fire Chief Tony Huemann and their team of Good Guys (n' gals) vs the managers of the McHenry Christian Fellowship Softball League (www.churchsoftball.org)

This years event has been adopted by McHenry Fiesta Days and will be held the evening of Sunday July 17th at McHenry Township Park with gates open at 4 PM followed by the Ceremony at 5 PM.

In honor of McHenry's 175th birthday, the church league starting lineup will include the manager or asst. manager from the following Churches from within the City Limits of McHenry:


Alliance Bible Church, Church of Holy Apostles Catholic, First United Methodist, First Baptist Church, Maranatha Assembly of God, St. Patrick's Catholic, Faith Presbyterian, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran, McHenry Evangelical Free and McHenry Chapel. 

(In total, the leagues 2011 roster includes 27 teams from 22 area churches.  NEW this year;  McHenry Chapel, St. John the Baptist Catholic, Johnsburg and Community of Faith Lutheran, Spring Grove.)

Admission to the Good Guys game is free for those who cannot afford the modest suggested donation at the gate of $5 per adult 18 and over.  Kids and Seniors FREE

Good Guys III will also feature:
  1. Hundreds of dollars worth of raffled in this 9 inning game. (Raffle prize(s) every half inning!
  2. Warriors Watch Escort to bring a special vet to toss out the first pitch!
  3. Special on-field ceremony!
  4. VFW/Legion Color Guard!
  5. Emcee and Play by Play call by McHenry Chamber Vice-President Tim Stewart!
  6. Great Hot food by McHenry Moose Lodge!
  7. Ice Cream!
  8. Corn Roast Courtesy of McHenry Knights of Columbus and Harms Farm!
  9. Fox Valley Blues umpire crew!
  10. Special 7th inning stretch for kids to run the bases and get a treat at home plate!
