ABOUT US

Fun, Faith, Fellowship

In 1978, a band of brothers in the Lord started a small softball league.

When formed, the league was comprised of just six teams:

1.)Shepherd of the Hills
2.)Chain of Lakes Covenant
3.)Faith Presbyterian
4.)Wonder Lake Bible
5.)First United Methodist
6.)Mt. Hope United Methodist

We are a mixed league with mostly men but some female players aged 17 and up. We play Monday nights only and we use wood bats.

Come on out and check us out and maybe your church can join us!

MISSION STATEMENT

The primary goal of the McHenry Christian Fellowship Softball League is to provide recreation. This recreation comes in the form of participating in or watching softball games played by the various churches that participate in the league.

Additional goals; To provide a safe and family friendly atmosphere.

To challenge all players, coaches, and fans to conduct themselves in a Godly manner.

To provide an opportunity for non-Christian players and spectators to make new friends who are unashamedly Christian. That said new friendships may provide a role whereby a non-Christian may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
